Artist Statement
As a watercolor painter I combine my love of drawing with my deep interest and appreciation for color and composition. Working figuratively and abstractly, I enjoy creating both large and small works. My desire, using color and space imaginatively, is to bring viewers into the universe I have created on paper.
Combined with line, color and composition of space are two joined, underlying themes of order and chaos. The strong figures represent order. The falling objects, which I call falling bodies, reflect both chaos and the order found in chaos.
